ABBOTT
Elder S., Squire, d Dec 20, 1852, 82y 6m Was a Baptist minister who came
from Astabula Co. Ohio in 1825 and in 1828 according to the history of the
Baptist Church of Lorain followed A. Campbell's beliefs/desciples is another
name according to an un recorded author in Western Reserve Historical collection
he had 13 children and I believe later returned to the Baptist faith. 3
of his sons married 3 of Ruluf and Azubah Andress/Andrus Daughters Sarah
Manerva, widow of Festus Powers, married Justin Abbott, Lucina married Orlan
Abbott, and Evelin Charlott married Eli Abbott I have extended down
lines for all three of these from Susan Quintana who is a decendent of Lucina
. (See Photo of grave stone)

Squire Abbott, was originally from Massachusetts, but removed to New York at an early day. He was a Baptist minister, and in the pioneer times was sent out as a missionary by the Baptist board, going from New York to Ohio on horseback. In 1820 he located in Ashtabula county, and five years later moved to Henrietta township, Lorain county, where he died December 18, 1853, aged eighty-three years.
Anna, wife, d Jan 24, 1847, 77y In the same
history Anna was listed as a widow of Bliss there are several of her children
(I think) found in Census records of Henrietta

Carlo first marries a Nancy Buckley 1 Mar 1832 Nancy born 10 May 1812 could

Ruloff, Mar 12, 1773-1849
As of yet there are many theorys on who Ruloff was and where he comes from
none of which have been proven in my mind. We first see our Ruloff in 1795
in a tax list of Rutland Co. Vt. I only have reports of this I have
not seen it at this time. The next time that I see him is in the 1800
Census of Poltney he moves shortley after this to Essex Co. New York where
he lives untill the 1817 when he moves on to Brownhelm Huron Co. Ohio in
1824 Lorain Co is formed and in 1827 they take the last 3 tiers of Brownhelm
and add some land South to it and Form Henrietta. Many of the people
in this cemetary come from Vt to Essex to Ohio.I believe after concederable
research that Ruluf was born not in Hartford Conn. But in Vermont as Almon
and Harriett said.
Azubah, wife, 1777-1832, 55y 4m
What we know about her family is that she had a sister Polly who married
a Uriah Hancock in 1795. She also has a brother uncle or Cousin named
James who is moving with this group of famalies. She does not belong
to the Azubah June line!
Almon, Apr 10, 1800-June 16, 1884
Is married 2 times had 8 known children by the first wife Emily
Hancock. Remarried -------------- in ------------ and in 1850 is listed
in the Warren Co Ill. Sebesquently returns to Ohio
Emily HANCOCK, wife Almon, June 5, 1801-Nov 21,
1844
Some records show her as a daughter of Uriah however she does not fit this
family. Amasa or another brother of Uriah could be her father.
